Using laundry detergent coupons
Coupons are a great way to save money on washing your clothes. You can find coupons for laundry detergent, fabric softener and fabric softenerer sheets that you put in the dryer. In this article I will talk about where you can find laundry detergent coupons and also purex coupons. If you are looking for links I will share some links to my favorite laundry detergent coupon site at the bottom of this article.
Where to find coupons for Laundry products.
If you want to save on your next purchase of detergent or fabric softener I know a few good spots. My first tip is to always check the website of the product you buy. For instance I like to use purex, so I always check the purex website first. When you are on the website you should look for a promotions or coupons page, usually there is a page that lists all the current promotions. If you can not find any deals then you should check the website of the company that owns that brand. Tide and Gain are actually owned by Procter and Gamble, P&G produce the brand saver, and there is almost always a coupon for tide or gain in this flyer.
Tips for saving money on Laundry Day
When you are washing your clothes do you ensure that you use a full load every time? What about the amount of detergent you use, or the temperature of the water? All of these things can cost you more money over time, but if you are frugal you can easily save hundreds of dollars just by altering a few bad habits. The first bad habit is washing clothes too frequently and not filling the machine all the way. If you always do a full load, you will be washing more clothes and using much less electricty and water. Also since you are wearing all of your clothes before washing them you will wash less and your clothes will probably last longer, thus saving you money in buying new clothes.
When washing clothes the water, electricty and supplies all add up. The easiest way to reduce the amount of electricty used and the cost of the electricity is to always wash a full load, and only use your washer and dryer during off-peak times. This will help you save quite a bit of money in electricity. Another tip is to hang your clothes on a line or on a drying rack inside. Many clothes come out of the spin cycle nearly dry, just hang them up and you will save a few dollars by not running the dryer.
